Objectives of Startup In the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry, research and development forms the very basis of the industry. Every step involved in the production and testing of the product must be thoroughly researched, developed, and validated before it can be put to any commercial use. The Startup has been established with a clear objective to develop API and finished formulations with all the required approvals from different regulatory authorities globally and perform clinical trials, bioequivalence and bioavailability testing of the formulations scientifically. The technology developed in the Startup for production as well as testing of the product should be robust enough to transfer to Contract manufacturing companies to ensure the product can be scaled commercially and can be made available in the market at rapid pace. Startup will be offering various services as detailed below • Develop various innovative dosage forms for solid orals comprising of Immediate release formulations, sustained release formulations, Extended-release formulations, sublingual formulations, bi-layered formulations, combination formulations etc. These innovative dosage forms will increase patient compliance. • Develop various techniques for production of formulations which will decrease the cost of the product and at the same time increase the efficacy of the product. This will also benefit society at large as the cost of medical treatment can go down for an individual. • Develop various dosage forms for liquid orals, for APIs which have poor solubility. Having liquid dosage forms for many products helps the pediatric and geriatric population equally, who face difficulty in swallowing tablets or capsules or powders. • Develop process for manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), which are difficult to manufacture or for which India has big dependence on other countries. • Perform stability studies at various ICH zones and perform photostability
