AVIJIT SAMAJDAR CREATIONS PVT. LTD. Avijit Samajdar Creations Pvt. Ltd., has been created to provide high quality content for prestigious projects in projection mapping, holographic projections, dome projections as well as other immersive technologies such as Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. The Indian industry has of late been booming with such state-of-the-art projects that require not just high technical skill and understanding but also an in-depth knowledge of ‘form’ and ‘design’ to create high quality content of international standards, over various surfaces and colour tones. Avijit Samajdar, the promoter, is internationally acclaimed for his out-of-the-box visualization and use of abstract geometry, natural elements and visionary art. His content designs are as compelling as they are immersive, in their storytelling. His in-depth knowledge and understanding of the hardware / software requirement as per projection surfaces and implementation of cutting-edge technology is what makes him so well sought after. Specialized projections for holograms, Projection Mapping and full 360o Dome theatres, using multiple high brightness projectors, LCDs, lights, specialized hardware to handle high bit rate content, requires the content to be optimized and hardware resource friendly, for uninterrupted and seamless playback. His close detailing in customized content creation, right from the start of the process, as per projector counts and blend areas, vis-a-vis geometric attributes of the projection surfaces, greatly optimizes projector and hardware counts. Fluent in many languages as well as being a prolific music composer who often uses ‘Schumann resonances’ in his musical compositions, Avijit’s latest creation, “Adiyogi Divya Darshanam” projection mapping, is a permanent installation created on the world’s tallest bust, the 112’ Adiyogi statue at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore. It was inaugurated by the Hon’ble President of India, during the Maha Shivaratri Celebrations at the Isha Yoga Centre. Critically acclaimed worldwide for it’s technical brilliance in achieving stunning colour outputs on a shiny black surface with its compelling visuals, it is now a case-study for designers and projectionists worldwide. “Adiyogi Divya Darshanam” is the latest recipient of the prestigious ‘Mondo Dr* Awards’ for technical and content excellence and the judges choice as the Finalists in the ‘International AV Awards’ and the ‘Inavation Awards 2020’. As such, this company aims to be the platform to bring to the audience cutting edge technology and content creation that will not just be immersive and compelling, but also be of international standards designed under the direction of Avijit Samajdar.
