Ayurvers Wellness offers a diet that adheres strictly to the principles of Indian Ayurveda and is known as the Healthy Ayurvedic Diet. Due to the fact that attractive hair has always been highly regarded throughout history in India, Ayurvedic hair care received special attention in ancient India. This is because beautiful hair has always been highly valued. In all of the old Indian literature, women's hair is always represented as being quite long and flowing freely around their shoulders. These hair treatments were made possible by the ingredients that were prescribed by an Ayurvedic physician. These ingredients included leaves from the Brahmi plant, Jatamansi (or spikenard), Amla, Bhringraj, and Japapatti. All of these herbs and spices were and still are considered to be essential for maintaining healthy hair. After the roots and herbs had been soaked in coconut oil for a couple of days, the color of the oil was allowed to change to a vibrant shade of yellow-green. After that, the herb-infused oil was mixed over a low flame to create a residual paste, which was then filtered and used to the hair as a conditioner before bedtime. The heating and storing of these herbal pastes in copper containers caused the herbal pastes to release their nutritional benefits into the oil, which was then used for medicinal purposes.
