Baroda Metal Finishing LLP is a pioneering startup based in Vadodara, Gujarat, focused on delivering advanced coating solutions that inherently avoid the environmental pitfalls of traditional metal finishing processes. Our core expertise lies in Zinc Flake and Xylan coatings, poised to replace hazardous processes such as electroplating, hot-dip galvanizing, and phosphating. We aim to provide better alternatives for polluting processes. Unlike conventional methods, which rely on water-intensive processes and involve the use of toxic chemicals that can result in hazardous waste, our coatings are dry-applied and require no water in the application process. This fundamentally eliminates the risk of water contamination and the need for extensive effluent treatment. Additionally, our coatings do not involve the use of heavy metals or other dangerous substances, preventing the release of harmful emissions and ensuring a safer work environment. Keeping in mind the increasing scarcity of water, it is imperative to shift industries away from water consumption and provide alternatives less dependent on water. Technically, zinc flake and Xylan coatings provide a superior barrier against corrosion through a mechanically bonded layer that is free of hydrogen embrittlement, a common issue with electroplating. These coatings also offer excellent adhesion and durability across a range of substrates, making them suitable for demanding applications in industries such as automotive, aerospace, infrastructure, construction, and heavy machinery.
