Our startup is BB & GG, a registered LLP in Kashmir. We have implemented a solid waste management model in the city with the help of Srinagar municipal corporation. We have installed our own 150 collection bins in the 5 major municipal wards of the city comprising of salons, poultry vendors, bus stops, mandis, educational campus where people are expected to dispose these selected wastes. From these source points we are procuring our raw material to the inventory with the help of small E-cart loading carrier. Optimoroute logistic software is to be used in managing waste chain and keeping record of all the source points. After waste is procured its thoroughly sterilized first and then subjected to treatment with the developed SOP. Because we are a early stage startup we are procuring 5 kg of hair wastes and 5 kg of poultry feather wastes only in this stage. We are converting these wastes within 50 min into a novel NPK rich liquid organic fertilizer or Plant growth regulator KeraH-GroW to be readily used in Indian agricultural systems as foliar spray or in drip fertigation systems.The final solution developed by the process mentioned in detail below is then diluted by 20 times (adding 20 litre of water per 1kg of hair solution) which make the total production capacity of unit about 200 litres/day at the moment. In other 2 years we will be increasing the production capacity to 400 litres/day by increasing the waste procurement volume.
