The water pipe freezing is a common issue in colder regions like Kashmir and Ladakh, especially during the winter months when temperatures drop significantly. The beautiful Kashmir Valley transforms into a winter wonderland during the 'chillai kalan,' but the freezing temperatures lead to a critical water crisis due to frozen water pipes. Traditional methods like pouring hot water and using heat guns have drawbacks that range from burst pipes to costly equipment requirements. These methods fail to address the core issue – the damaging temperature difference between the inner and outer sides of the water pipes. Besides these techniques, people use insulators (e.g., rubber, polyethene, foam) to wrap up water pipes but this method also doesn’t provide any ray of hope as insulators doesn’t prevent water pipes from freezing. Our startup has developed a groundbreaking solution – an add-on module that seamlessly integrates into existing piping systems. Utilizing induction-based heating technology, it prevents temperature differentials, safeguarding pipes, motors, and tanks from freezing-related damage.
