In their own words

Patient compliance (also adherence, capacitance) describes the degree to which a patient correctly follows medical advice. Most commonly, it refers to medication or drug compliance. Nearly 50% of patients do not take their medications as prescribed. Patient adherence is particularly important in case of chronic non-communicable diseases especially Hypertension and Diabetes which lead to disastrous complications if unchecked. Adherence to therapy also plays a major role in communicable diseases such as Tuberculosis where antibiotic resistance and relapse is commonly seen. Previous approaches to improving patient adherence to medical therapy include — Software-only offerings (cheap and marginally effective) like smart-phone apps or Hardware-centric offerings, like smart pill bottles and caps, which are more expensive.

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.

Is this your company?

Everything here comes from public government records. If something is wrong, the authoritative place to correct it is the Startup India portal itself, and we will pick the correction up on the next monthly snapshot. To flag an error on our side, write to trust@indianstartupmap.com.
