1.Bellobite LLP is a clean-label confectionery startup incubating at Nutrihub, IIMR (Indian Institute of Millets Research), Hyderabad. We are redefining the confectionery landscape by replacing empty calories with high-value nutrition. Our mission is to transform traditional "junk" treats (lollipops, jellies etc) into nutrient-dense, safe indulgences for children by utilizing Indian supergrains (Millets) and chemical-free, plant-based ingredients. We bridge the gap between "what kids crave" and "what parents trust." 2. The Solution:- Bellobite addresses this by engineering a new category of "Functional Confectionery." -Product Line: We manufacture lollipops, jellies, and soft candies that mimic the texture and taste of mainstream treats but are formulated with Millets (Sorghum, Pearl Millet), Jaggery, Dates, and Real Fruit Extracts. -Process: Our proprietary manufacturing process eliminates the need for synthetic stabilizers, artificial colors, and chemical preservatives. -Result: A "Guilt-Free" treat that provides satiety and micronutrients, turning a mindless snacking moment into a nourishing one. 3. Uniqueness & Innovation:- -Our innovation lies in Ingredient Re-engineering and Clean-Label Formulation: -Millet Integration: Unlike traditional cookies or powders, we have successfully integrated Millet flour into confectionery formats (candies/jellies) without compromising the smooth texture or taste that kids expect. This increases the fiber and protein content of a standard treat. -Zero-Chemistry Approach: We have replaced industry-standard chemical additives with natural alternatives . 4.Promoting "Shree Anna" (Millets): We are directly contributing to the Government of India’s millet initiative by creating modern, demand-driven value-added products that support millet farmers, we will generate employment in the food processing sector as we are focused on manufacturing.
