Everyone loves snacks, so as a pickle. Pickles have been an intrinsic part of the Indian culinary sphere. Every state has its own way of making and preserving pickles in India which eventually spice up our palate. It is impossible to have a meal without a tasty pickle to accompany it. Pickle has been used in Indian culinary from time immemorial. Pickle has various health benefits like it improves the digestive system, rich in materials good for enhancing the immunity system, is a good source of antioxidants, etc. Also, they are a rich source of vitamin K2 which is obligatory for the absorption of vitamin D, as hypervitaminosis D can lead to lung damage, brittle bones, irregular heartbeat, and pancreatitis. Another interesting fact is that Indians consume more than 4 Kg of pickles per person annually. The global pickles and pickle products market was valued at USD 10.80 billion in 2016 and is growing at a CAGR of 3.1% in the forecast period. We at Bethany Agro Pvt Ltd., collect all the required raw material from the North Eastern States, Tribal States of Odisha & Bihar, and prepare 35 types of traditional pickles including non-veg such as mango, tamarind, gooseberry, bamboo shoot, garcinia, elephant apple, chicken, fish, pork, blueberry, pineapple, lemon, etc. These pickles have high demand amongst northeast people and the rest of India. We have manufacturing units in Guwahati, Assam, and Nayagarh, Odisha. We are also making an online platform where we will bring other SHGs who are into pickle making and provide us raw material to make pickle. Currently we are working with 18 SHGs from NER who are involved in supplying & making of pickles. We are going to sell our products in the name of "Mama's Pickle" as it made by Mothers. We have also started selling our products under Mama's Pickle in Odisha and Assam on a pilot basis.
