We are an innovation-driven agritech startup establishing a technology-enabled Multi-Layer Agroforestry Model in Korwar, Vijayapura. Our project strategically replaces traditional monoculture with high-density multi-layer cropping (Sandalwood/Mahogany, horticulture, and intercrops) integrated with smart livestock management. Utilizing GIS mapping, geo-tagging, and satellite monitoring, we create a transparent, climate-resilient rural ecosystem. Key Highlights for DPIIT Startup Recognition: 1. Innovative Concept & Process: Our startup transforms traditional farming into a sustainable ecosystem. By strategically planting diverse layers of trees and crops on the same land, we optimize solar energy and soil nutrients. This method increases green cover significantly and restores soil biology, representing a major process innovation in the agricultural sector. 2. Institutional Synergy (Multi-Department Blueprint): Our innovation lies in its comprehensive integration. The project is designed to synergize with the core objectives of multiple apex bodies: (A) Department of Agriculture & NABARD: For tech-driven farming models and financial inclusion for rural livelihoods. (B) Department of Forest: Enhancing high-value timber wealth (Sandalwood/Mahogany) and biodiversity protection. (C) Department of Animal Husbandry: Implementing advanced livestock management for income diversification. 3. Pollution Control & Global Climate Goals: The project is strictly aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 15 (Life on Land). By creating massive carbon sinks, we actively sequester atmospheric CO₂, directly contributing to India’s Net-Zero emissions target by 2070. 4. Carbon Credit Monetization: We leverage scientific data analytics to measure carbon stored in our agroforestry systems.
