BGVV Vintage Private Limited is a registered company under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). The startup is creating an innovation in imitation jewellery by inventing a unique lab-made alloy that looks and feels like gold. This innovation not only improves the existing process of making imitation jewellery but also provides an eco-friendly and skin-safe alternative for daily wear. Jewellery is an essential commodity in India, but due to excessive inflation in gold prices, it has gone out of reach for the common man. At present, the imitation jewellery sector in India is largely unorganized, with products of below-average quality that are easily identified as fake. To bridge this gap, BGVV Vintage has developed its own special alloy by mixing various metals at different melting points. The resulting jewellery is affordable, durable, and free from the risks of theft, while maintaining the charm of gold. The company’s main objective is to set up a manufacturing plant for producing jewellery from this alloy. This will create a milestone in employment generation, wealth creation, and boosting the economy of India. With the imitation jewellery market in India valued at around USD 2 billion and growing at a CAGR of 10–15% annually, the startup aims to tap into this huge opportunity. BGVV Vintage also plans to expand globally by exporting its products, thereby contributing to India’s economic growth and GDP.
