During the last 2 years the tourism industry has witnessed a huge upheaval due to lack of foreign visitors and low growth of domestic travellers. The concerns to the pandemic are shared by all stakeholders to the tourism industry and losses have been faced by one and all. Post Pandemic the tourism industry has also evolved by customers seeking locations which are unique and experiences that are unparalled and bespoke in nature. To address this demand we are keen to offer customized solutions to the tourists in the form of mobile camping or “glamping”. This involves setting up temporary camps in form of specially designed luxury tents for groups in relatively new areas which have not been explored or customized to an itinerary. This would include some fixed locations as well. The customer would benefit from having an experience which is : - Away from traditional commercial hubs. - Avail luxury services in temporary structures which have been erected for the purpose of their itinerary. - Get a chance to explore areas and experience cultures that have not been explored due to various reasons such, high capital expense or other entry barriers etc. - Have a chance to participate in eco tourism and not leave human footprint behind. - Allow for a safe and hygienic way to travel and stay by ensuring social distancing etc. Luxury Mobile camping is a relatively new phenomenon which has not been explored. At the heart of our model is the ability to provide bespoke services in temporary structures with all the modern facilities that one would expect in a permanent structure or hotel but on a mobile basis. At present I understand this is being done but only in the form of fixed structures. Moreover this is women centric model the business is owned and operated by a woman. 50% of the work force at warehouse sites would be handled by women and physical site erection would be done by men. The intent here is to generate a profitable and socially responsible model which will allow local persons to gain from tourism. Luxury camping is a relatively low capital but high labour intensive business. The intent here is to create a business model which will : - Create a skilled workforce. - Open up hithero unexplored areas and expose the discerning tourist to unexplored indian cultures and traditions. - Strive to provide employment to women in rural india as the business is owned and run by a woman. - Build scale by reinvesting in the business.
