This is a startup which is about to bring a change in the edible oil sector. We all know that most of the edible oil in the market is either adulterated or is compromised in quality. Some even falsely claim about the process by which the oil is extracted (the Kacchi Ghani). Our company would initially focus on the mustard oil sub-sector. We would provide differentiated product according to the origin of mustard. For example, Mustard Oil from Jaipur, Mustard Oil from Bhind etc. Initially the market would be a niche one, but with popularity this would be the new norm for customers' decision making while purchasing edible oil, especially mustard oil. Our family is in the business of edible oil for 40 years and after watching closely and analyzing everything in the business, I conclude by saying that this is a sustainable business in FMCG sector.
