Developed a process called Smanota that uses NLP to extract and encode clinical free text into SNOMED CT, ICD, LOINC and RxNorm codes. This encoded data can then be used to perform clinical data analytics using the rich clinical data that every encounter record (medical record) contains. Currently, a beta solution is deployed over the web that extracts and encodes diagnoses entered as free text into ICD10 using this process. (https://www.bc2ri.com/ikodex/).
