Technical Suitability: Fully compatible with the Board & Pillar method, allowing simultaneous mining and backfilling, enhancing recovery, stability, and production efficiency in continuous-miner operations. 3. Safety & Stability: Improves strata control, reduces subsidence, and enhances mine safety while enabling extraction of additional coal left as support pillars under conventional methods. 4. Environmental Impact & ESG Alignment: Reuses solid waste—such as coal gangue, fly ash, and mine water—as filling material, minimizing waste discharge and aligning with India's circular economy and sustainability goals. 5. Productivity & Efficiency: Mining and backfilling operations can run in parallel, improving output and reducing idle time, making the method both environmentally and economically efficient.
