The primary cause of diesel distribution difficulties in India, as well as the losses connected with them, is the country's insufficient number of retail fuel stations. When it comes to the requirement for retail petrol stations, India lags far behind. This might be linked to the fact that land acquisition for enterprises in India is a difficult task. Also, acquiring property and then establishing a whole retail petrol station on it is a very demanding and time involved procedure. This has made the retail outlet business less appealing in recent years. However, with the assistance of modern technologies such as IoT and cloud computing, we have been able to deploy special purpose vehicles such as Mobile petrol pumps, which are effectively mobile retail gasoline stations. A mobile petrol pump may supply fuel directly to users' homes. A mobile petrol pump can supply gasoline to clients' homes, and they can automatically compute all transactions due to its connectivity with mobile applications. This is an intriguing breakthrough since it is incredibly scalable due to extremely minimal CAPEX inputs, and it can also be duplicated in massive numbers to address faults in the present system.
