BitLine is an entrepreneurial organization focusing on becoming an Original Design Manufacturing company. As India is becoming smarter, there is an upsurge in consumption of non-linear loads such as power adaptors, UPS units and SMPS (like TV, refrigerator & washing machine). Every non-linear load is a source for harmonics in the line. Indicated by occurrences like flickering lights and overheating switchboards, cables & motors, harmonics takes a toll on the equipment’s life. Hence every household requires a harmonic mitigation device for increasing the appliance’s efficiency and reduce the effective reactive power required by the electricity transmission and distribution. The Unique Harmonic Mitigation Device Not only the reaction of its harmonic mitigation device is much faster than other similar devices, but it also comes with a unique set of features including high/low voltage protection, power line filter, fault detection & auto reset, cycle-by-cycle AC scanning and protection against lightning. Yet another striking feature of Bitline’s device is the startup delay. “Refrigerator is different from other loads. To resolve this, we must provide two devices in a single cabinet; one for the loads which need input after some delay like three minutes and other for loads where delay can be as small as five seconds,” explains Vinaya Rao, Director of Engineering, Bitline Technologies. It is this innovative spirit that facilitated the company to get selected for Takeoff Istanbul Startup Summit 2018 and invited for a pitching session in Istanbul. Bitline also offers various products, namely Street Light Controller and Monitoring Device, Hydroponics, Solar data logger with SD card, MPPT Solar charger up to 100A/200V, Optical Fiber Node power supply with a solar charger, Green House Controller and Standalone Security System & Fault Monitoring system (UPS & Generator). “All these products are manufactured by well experienced technical staff and are taken through rigorous testing with autotransformers and power analyzing meters,” remarks Rizwan Roshan, Managing Director, Bitline Technologies. In today’s consumer market we have a wide range of latest products like LED tv, LED lighting, Refrigerators, Washing machines, Air conditioners, etc. all are equipped with an SMPS or an AC/DC converter. Switch Mode Power supplies or AC/DC converters are sensitive and are the main cause for high-frequency electrical noise and harmonic distortions in the line. Electrical noises and harmonic distortions in the line damages the other equipment connected to the same line. To eliminate these Electrical noises and harmonic distortions we must have a protecting and filtering device. R-Pro protects in the event of Low Voltage, High Voltage, and High current and also offers filtering of high-frequency noises and harmonic filtering. R-Pro saves your home/equipment from spark by using a technique called zero-cross detection. R-Pro removes the noise in the line of the home and saves your equipment from damage. R-Pro turns off time is very fast. As soon as a discrepancy is detected at the input the R-Pro will turn the supply in less than 4mS which very fast compared to traditional devices in the Market whose turn off time is more than 2S. R-Pro provides cycle by cycle scanning and your equipment is provided safety at every cycle of your input.
