India has 2nd largest road network in the world with 63 Lac KM of total road network, Out of that 3.12 Lac KM (growing by 36.5 km/day as of now, by 2025 60 km/day) of National and State Highways which holds 40% of total road traffic, which is serving to 2.99+ Cr daily inter-city & inter-state private car & bus commuters, this translates to ~90+ Cr monthly & ~1092+ Cr yearly commuters. All of these commuters are struggling to have right dining experience of their choice while they are in commute. Considering the way govt is enhancing highway by creating high speed green corridors & reducing mishaps by road fencing and flyovers. This leading to another challenge for commuters as traditional methods of finding restaurants or other amenities by road side visibility is not working well and its not practical anymore. At the same time bus commuters are straggling as well, as bus provides limited halt duration and sudden spike in traffic leads to unsettle the restaurant services. As it’s not practical for restaurants to gauge the traffic from buses & plan the capacity accordingly. As of 2022, India has total of 22+ Lac of registered buses, out of that 52000+ buses are operating on long routes highways by 3500 bus operators on daily basis. Currently car travellers are using google map to locate the amenities, but considering the way google map works its difficult to find the restaurants or other amenities of your choice parallel to your routes, its displays the listing around certain radius only and also google map doesn’t co-own or ensure the right experience. Few other apps like Justdial, Bing, HighwayDelite are available but all of them are for listing only without any standardisation of services. For bus commuters, they don’t have any option to pre book the meals at upcoming halt stations. And doing this process manually is not practical for bus operators or restaurants both.
