INTRODUCTION Hair transplant surgery involves removing a small piece of hair-bearing scalp grafts from a donor site and relocating them to a bald for thinning area. Also, the surgeon has to plant 45 grafts in a small area of 1cmx1cm for proper hair growth. This entire process is manual and very physically exhaustive. There is no alternately available in the market. Electronics Hair Implanter (Semi-automatic Hand-held Device) Hair Transplant Surgery involves, extracting Hair grafts from the Donor area and plant them on a bald scalp area. As the number of hair follicles transplanted in a patient is approximately 3000-4000 or even More, Hair transplantation by a manual implanter requires a considerable amount of time and money and demands a great amount of patience and pain tolerance from both patients and surgeons. In addition, many surgeons frequently experience musculoskeletal disorders owing to the numerous simple repetitive motions of the shoulder and wrist during the procedure. Moreover, the results of the surgery may vary depending on the skill of the surgeon. We are proposing a handheld semi-automatic device with the cartridge, which can load up to 20 grafts, and with sequential foot pedal actuation, the device implants 20 grafts in one round. Hair Transplant Surgery involves, extracting Hair grafts from the Donor area and plant them on a bald scalp. The hair follicle Implantation technology still uses a simple hand-held implanter, We are proposing a handheld semi-automatic device.
