DPIIT recognised District Fashion

In their own words

We have started a daily wear fashion brand by the name of UNIREC ( U-N-I RECycle )where we make garments from fabrics made from recycled PET plastic bottles. In the last 4 years , we have manufactured and sold over 200000 garments which have been made from fabrics using over 2.4 million plastic bottles. Further , this has ensured that almost 50000 kgs of plastic has been saved from entering landfills and almost 700 tonnes of carbon emissions have been reduced in the manufacturing process. Under UNIREC we make t-shirts, jackets, shirts, hoodies, etc We have also started a take back program by the name of Project Sundri , where we ask the customers who have purchased products from us to give them back to us once they are tired of wearing them. We in turn give these products to a women's NGO who then upcycle these used garments into new products like laptop sleeves, pouches , key chains, jewelry, etc.

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.

Is this your company?

Everything here comes from public government records. If something is wrong, the authoritative place to correct it is the Startup India portal itself, and we will pick the correction up on the next monthly snapshot. To flag an error on our side, write to trust@indianstartupmap.com.
