What this record amounts to
BRHM is a Startup India record we can place no finer than Prayagraj district, which holds 1,450 records in this snapshot. 101 of those records are filed under Healthcare & Lifesciences, 7% of the district. It carries no funding signal of any class, which is true of 1,286 of the 1,450 records in Prayagraj.
Every figure above is counted from the 2026-08 snapshot and is the same number the page it links to prints.
In their own words
What we do: BRHM builds affordable brain controlled bionic hands for upper limb amputees. Our hand costs $1,000 against competitors charging $15,000 to $30,000 — making it 90% cheaper without compromising on functionality. The Problem: 57 million people globally live without a functional limb. In India alone, only 5% of amputees ever get fitted with a prosthetic. Advanced bionic hands are imported from the US and Europe and are completely unaffordable for the average Indian. Our Solution: The BRHM Divine Organ Hand is brain controlled via EMG sensors, has 12 grip modes, haptic touch feedback, and can lift up to 20kg. We built everything from scratch using first principles manufacturing which is how we achieve the price point. The Story: My childhood friend lost her hand at age 6 and went 15 years without a functional prosthetic. I built her one in my bedroom in Prayagraj using prize money from science competitions. She is now the first user of the BRHM hand. Traction: Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Young Innovator Award out of 20,000 applications. $20,000 grant from Emergent Ventures, George Mason University. Validated by 10 senior prosthetists. Successful real world human trial completed.

The neighbourhood
This record carries no locality line, so the district is the finest ring we can place it in.
What we do not know
- no CIN on file, so no company-registry record is linked
- no incorporation date
- no funding signal of any kind
- no address beyond the district
We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.
