Brihat-Net is focused on research in and application of AI, mathematical modelling and scientific computation. We are studying, extracting and generalising mobility and interaction patterns in various networks. 1. Traffic Networks 2. Communication Networks 3. Supply Chains 4. Electric Grids 5. Organizational/Social Networks We are doing it in two parts. The first part is the prediction part and the second part is the planning part. What are we trying to solve/predict? 1. How do network interaction dynamics evolve? 2. How does a change in network structure affects the resultant network interaction dynamics? 3. Identification/prediction of motifs/sub-graphs with solid interaction. 4. Interaction attributes (class, volume, etc) prediction. Eg spatiotemporal prediction of a. power consumption b. public transport demand prediction c. water-food production and consumption d. communication network usage e. supply-demand of goods or services 5. How to deal with zero-shot, one-shot and few-shot learning problems? What kind of plans can we develop with this? 1. Given the prediction model that provides us with the interaction attributes on a given graph, we can identify or generate routes (sequence of links). 2. In the public transportation network, we can use it for vehicle scheduling, and route finding/routing given the resource constraints (fleet size, available staff, working hours, etc). 3. In urban planning, we can use it for planning transport networks, communication-transmission lines, etc. 4. In e-commerce and logistics, apart from point 2 it can be used for warehouse/inventory management. 5. In healthcare, it can be used for planning and predicting medicine supply-demand, pandemic spread patterns, etc. 6. In electric grids and power transmission, demand prediction and planned load shedding. It can also be a preemptive control unit to save from overload damages. 7. In communication networks, for planned frequency and resource allotment and sharing.
