In India worshiping is way of life and A temple waste is unique kind of biodegradable waste having share of approx 8,00,000 tons per day. After fulfilling their purpose, flowers along with other waste like , leaves, fruits, coconuts, etc. find their way into the garbage or are discarded either into some water bodies or left up on the open places as a waste causing various environmental problems like death of aquatic animals, River pollution etc. Everyday Ahmedabad generates 30k kg of temple flower waste. We Brook and Blooms came with solution Currently we are collecting and processing 2000 kg auspicious floral waste directly fro 86 worshiping places and 20 river site pots (kalash pot). and set-up innovative mechanism to convert it into Natural product like Natural fertilizer, Herbal Incense stick, coco-peat and pot and many more . Till today we had recycle more than 4,00,000 kg floral waste. In nearly future our plan to scale this model in to various cities of the India which are suffering from same issue and research on different types of products which can be made by auspicious floral waste like Rose water and Marigold dye. Our all out-put products will be eco-friendly. By this initiative our goal is to create wealth out of waste and livelihood. And cleaning the water bodies and saving the life of aquatic.
