Although it is approximately two decades that Cloud Computing has been around, still a large portion of business community continues to operate without it. Some statistics to explain the rise in demand for Cloud computing is discussed for your reference. International Data Group states 69% of businesses are already using cloud technology in one capacity or another and 18% say they plan to implement Cloud Computing solutions. At some point companies that invest in cloud, mobility and security enjoy upto 53% faster revenue growth than their competitors. This technology is leading to more efficiently run their organisations, better serve their customers, and dramatically increase their overall profit margins. It is surprisingly found 94% businesses claimed they saw an improvement in security after switching to the cloud. 91% said the cloud makes it easier to meet government compliance requirements. All this seems to indicate that given the apparent direction in which the industry is moving, there's never been a better time to get in the cloud. Cost savings, security, flexibility, mobility, increased collaboration, quality control, disaster recovery, loss prevention, sustainability are some advantages of Cloud Computing.
