About the Startup (10–15 lines) BuildOx Nova LLP is a technology-enabled B2B procurement platform built for India's real estate and construction industry. The startup addresses a well-known structural inefficiency in the sector: developers and contractors typically manage 40+ independent, uncoordinated vendors, resulting in delivery-schedule mismatches, retail-tier pricing with no bulk leverage, inconsistent material quality across batches, and opaque billing processes. BuildOx replaces this fragmented model with a single-point procurement layer, termed the "Procurement Ledger System," designed around three core functions. First, Consolidation, where material demand is aggregated across multiple developer projects to unlock institutional-grade pricing that individual contractors cannot access on their own. Second, Verification, where every material batch undergoes a structured quality-and-authenticity check before leaving the supplier's facility. Third, Settlement, where payment cycles to suppliers are automated to maintain a healthy, responsive, and reliable supply chain. Beyond materials, the platform also onboards vetted professional experts — architects, interior designers, chartered accountants, and legal specialists — enabling developers to source both materials and project-critical expertise through one integrated network. With a stated roadmap to scale across 28+ states, BuildOx aims to bring cost efficiency, quality assurance, and end-to-end transparency to a traditionally manual, relationship-driven procurement process.
