Bundelkhand Market Hub LLP is the primary legal entity that owns and operates the brand “VilWay”, a technology-driven phygital hyperlocal marketplace focused on digitizing local retail and enabling efficient last-mile commerce. VilWay provides a unified digital platform where local retailers can onboard at zero cost and sell directly to nearby consumers. The platform operates on a commission-based model, making it accessible and scalable for small and medium businesses that lack digital reach and face challenges competing with large e-commerce platforms. The startup introduces a hybrid hyperlocal fulfillment model, wherein essential categories such as grocery and FMCG are fulfilled through automated nearest-seller allocation for faster delivery, while other categories allow customers to select specific sellers, enabling merchant branding and customer relationships. VilWay manages deliveries through an in-house logistics network, ensuring service quality, reliability, and operational control. A key differentiator is its open-box delivery system, where customers verify products at the time of delivery before making payment, reducing return rates and enhancing trust. The platform follows an asset-light and scalable model, leveraging existing local retail infrastructure without holding inventory. To expand into rural markets, the startup is developing a decentralized village-level agent network for order acquisition, delivery, and payment collection. The startup has developed a functional MVP and is initiating operations in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, with plans to expand to 100+ cities across India.
