The present invention discloses a maturity testing system for concrete materials adhering to the latest Industry-4.0 protocols. It particularly relates to non-destructive measurements of physio-chemical hardening properties of setting concrete materials in real-time, providing the information as to the setting and strengthening properties of the setting concrete materials to beforehand determine said hardening properties of the cured concrete materials. The testing of maturing concrete materials, often simply referred to as maturity, are ways of non-destructively evaluating new concrete’s in-place strength by correlating time and temperature measurements and other known constant parameters of concrete as it hardens, to strength values traditionally determined by standardized destructive testing of concrete. In most construction sites, lab or field-cured standard concrete samples or specimens are tested destructively to determine the strength of that placed concrete at various ages, typically within a few days and up to a few months, after the concrete is poured, in order to ascertain the concrete’s quality, compliance to contract specifications and performance, in addition to decide several critical aspects related to construction activities such as, but not limited to, formwork removal, duration of curing of concrete, prestress-release, lifting concrete elements, allowing loading on the concrete structure, and others. The invention disclosed herein provides a system for the determination of the properties of the maturing concrete materials by means of non-destructive method and in real-time as said concrete materials are setting during the process of casting of concrete structures in situ.
