In their own words
Our company is engaged in growing organic seasonal vegetables in association with the farmers located within 100 km. of NCT of Delhi region and sell the produce directly to the consumers in Delhi. We shall sell these vegetables on an e-rickshaw cart specially designed for the purpose. Daily plucked vegetables shall be brought resulting in fresh deliveries to the buyers. The farmers shall get better value for their produce and we educate them with new technologies for growing better vegetables. As a group of farmers, we shall help financially and physically each other. in Delhi, our salesforce shall be given technological know-how in order to sell the vegetables through the use of technology, viz. using digital payment modes, etc. Also, we shall deliver vegetables to the consumers through an online app as well as a dedicated telephone line. These home deliveries shall be measured at the doorstep using an electronic hand-held weighing scale thus building the trust of surety. the idea basically is, " PRODUCED, NOT PROCURED". In future we wish to expand in terms of size (number of e-rickshaws), products (ghee, jaggery, etc.) and market place (other states). We also wish to venture into agri- tourism so as to enable the urban gentry connect with the rural farmers.
