Established in 2008, CellBios is India's first and Asia’s second largest manufacturer of Cord Blood processing sets, stem cell storage/Freezing bags (used for storing the stem cells for over 20 years), cryopreservation solution, bone marrow transplantation products and accessories. Over 2,00,000 parents have banked their children's stem cells using CellBios supplied processing and storage/Freezing bags. Over 500 patients have undergone successful Bone marrow transplantation with the help of our devices. India was importing 100% of the processing and storage bags for stem cell therapy and Bone marrow transplant up until CellBios started manufacturing them by end of 2015. Currently, CellBios is catering to about 50% of these product domains and aiming for pinnacle to substitute maximum imports with indigenous manufacturing. Hence, we have expanded our manufacturing facility to help increase the market share and the market itself for stem cell processing/banking products in the World markets. CellBios launching the products for Tissue storage, Bone/Cartilage storage, and various cells storage by end of this FY. Furthermore, by FY25, India’s biotech industry is estimated to increase to USD 100 billion from USD 11 billion in FY16. CellBios recognizes that this rapid growth is only possible with the availability of affordable products. Accordingly, CellBios is venturing into single use disposables and bioreactors for biotechnology processes by Jan’2019 onwards. We believe this will create and meet the demands of the biotech industry growth by producing indigenous products at affordable prices and support the growth engine of Indian biotech industry. Single-use systems have become an important tool in the development and scale up of biotechnology processes. Single-use systems save space, increase flexibility in scale and space planning and to a large extent, reduce costs in development and change over. CellBios launching products for Urology segment by October 2018 and plans for Nephrology (Haemodialysis) by Jan’19. Many more products are at various stages of development, particularly, for Respiratory care, bioprocess and other medical market segments. CellBios is venturing into these markets to scale up the business and therefore creating more jobs and wealth, overall. An experienced R&D team at CellBios focuses on innovation, using in-house R&D technology and by continuous process improvement on manufacturing. Our Team also works toward excelling in delivering products across various biotech and medical devices.
