GeneAura Pvt Ltd is a genetic diagnosis and genetic counselling company. It was started with a vision to provide high quality/ state-of-art gene based diagnosis to those who need it the most at affordable cost. Genetic tests are considered a luxury in our country, but for some it is an essential diagnosis. Here in GeneAura we believe that every gene contained within a human cell has its own personality and character – their Aura…. They interact with the environment and the lifestyle habits surrounding them while responding to stimulus. The changes due to these stimuli cause random genetic diseases and those DNA changes which are inherited from ancestors cause inherited genetic disorders. Interestingly all humans are more than 99% similar in their genetic make-up. From the remaining 1% variants in the DNA bases contribute to the appearance, character, behaviour and habit of an individual. A small fraction of these variants contributes to the genetic disorder of a human. GeneAura, very meticulously and robustly identifies and curates these very minute changes which may the reason behind the disease causing potential of a gene. This is achieved by interactive brainstorming sessions between experts from the field of medicine, genetics, computers and research. We believe everyone should have access to their genetic information to enable them and their physician to take informed decision about a treatment protocol. This helps in personalizing their treatment regimen by matching an individual’s aura to their gene’s aura.
