Chandaba Enterprise Private Limited is a Bhavnagar based startup established on 8 August 2024 with the objective of creating sustainable livelihood opportunities, particularly for women from rural, urban and economically weaker communities.The startup follows a decentralized and home based production model. Women are trained in industrial filter making- stitching, handicrafts, gift articles, embroidery, beadwork, beauty services and other market-oriented skills. After training, they are connected with production orders, raw materials, quality-control support and market linkages.At present, around 125 women are engaged through the initiative, and the startup aims to expand livelihood opportunities to 500 women. Its industrial product range includes flange guards, press filters, basket filters, finger filters, centrifuge filters, hand gloves, aprons,etc. The creative product segment includes embroidery items, beadwork, patchwork, home décor, bags, stitching products and customized gift articles. The key innovation of the startup lies in connecting a home based women workforce with formal industrial and commercial supply chains. Instead of limiting the initiative to skill training, the model focuses on actual production, regular work opportunities, quality monitoring and income generation.The company acts as a coordinating platform between women producers and buyers by identifying market requirements, arranging training and raw materials, distributing work, checking quality and coordinating supply. The startup has already developed working associations with organizations such as Sumitomo Chemical India Limited and Agrocel Industries Private Limited.The model is scalable and can be replicated across industrial regions such as Vapi, Ankleshwar, Bharuch, Dahej and Vadodara. In the long term, the startup aims to establish women led production groups, create micro enterprises, expand product lines and use digital platforms for marketing and order coordination.
