CHANDHOK ENGINEERING PRIVATE LIMITED (CEPL) a new start up venture has been incorporated on 19th March 2018 with an intent to carry out following objectives/activities: 1. To develop and establish state of art Flow Laboratory (NABL approved)-Fixed type 2. To develop and establish state of art Flow Laboratory (NABL approved)-Mobile type. 3. To Design, Develop and Manufacture innovative products in the field of Fluid Technology such as • Flow Metering devices • Flow Control devices . 4. To make scalable business model with high potential of growth and employment 5. To carry out research in the field of fluid engineering Innovation A: Flow Laboratory Measurement of flow, whether it is a liquid or gas, is commonly a critical parameter in many processes. In most operations it is important to know that the right flow of the fluid. Some critical applications require the ability to conduct accurate flow measurements to ensure product quality. It is required that all measuring equipment be regularly tested / Calibrated , to make sure their working at the best levels thereby improving efficiencies. (i) Mobile We at CEPL are designing and developing First Ever Mobile Flow lab for onsite testing using , Water , Oil or any other liquid , as required by the customer to fulfil testing conditions. Laboratory will conform to International Standard ISO 17025 and will also be accredited by NABL. Customer’s equipment never leaves the customer site, hence it provides the customer with the satisfaction that there equipment is safe and in their plant. It will be used for Testing , Calibration , Performance Testing , the following products • All types of Differential Pressure Flow Elements such as , Orifice, Flow Nozzles, Venturis , Averaging Pitot Tubes , Pitot Tubes , Wedge Flow , V Cone , Aerofoils etc. • Magnetic Flow meters • Vortex Flow Meters • Ultrasonic Flow Meters • Turbine Flow Meters • Coriolis/Mass/Thermal Mass meters • Rotameters • Water meters • Positive Displacement meters such as ,Oval gear ,Sliding vane ,Nutating disk. • Performance testing and CV testing of all types of Valves. • Performance testing of Pumps The Lab will be mounted on a trailer. The Lab will have its own Water / Oil storage tank will be able to do both Primary Testing using Weight Tanks or Secondary Testing using a very high accurate Flow meter. The lab will have state of art PLC control systems and testing software to carry out automated testing . It will give automated reports with out human intervention thus removing inaccuracies while collecting and analysing data . Eventually this will improve quality of the end product resulting savings from huge financial losses. Process plants are not conducting recalibration for the shortage of time during shutdown period and the logistics involved.As such these plants are not running at optimum level. With such Mobile labs which shall be available in their plant itself , such recalibration of vital flow metering and provides the customer with the satisfaction that their equipment is safe and in their plant. Beside process plants, this laboratory is useful for 1000’s of private Engineering Colleges who do not have this kind of facility for the students . These labs can be sent to the colleges for training and R & D programs , to educate and train the new engineers form theses private colleges. This will help in SKILL DEVELOPMENT and make young Engineers more employable and useful for the industry and the country. (II) Fixed On similar lines of Mobile type, Fixed Lab will be established in premises for calibration of all meters and equipments as described above. Plants, who can send the meters and equipments to our premises shall be serviced. This lab will also be useful for calibration of in-house Flow devices manufactured by us including research on the related topics. Flow Metering Devices Measurement of flow, whether it is a liquid or gas, is commonly a critical parameter in many processes. Some critical applications require the ability to conduct accurate flow measurements to ensure product quality. Flow Metering devices proposed for manufacture at CEPL are meant for usage in water projects, process industry wherein measurement of flow in certain loops become very critical to control same. The accuracy of measurement with proposed products shall be highest. These shall include but not limited to Electromagnetic Flow meters, Ultrasonic Flow Meters. CEPL shall be manufacturing these technology oriented products based on its own research as well in association with overseas Manufactures. B: Flow Control Devices In most cases of Process applications, there are highly aggressive media, which have temperatures and pressures in border areas. Control of such media flows is made through the different valve body materials, linings etc. which gives us the ability to cover a large number of these applications. At CEPL we have the plan to design and develop Flow control devices to have an effective control Growth and Employment With the plans described above we are sure to have a growing demand for our services & products which not only shall be cheaper than import of products, but better in quality as well. There will be ample opportunity for direct employment as well indirect employment through our sub suppliers.
