CIVIM Grains is an emerging agri–food brand that sources high-quality food grains directly from small and medium farmers and delivers them to urban and semi-urban consumers in a clean, graded, and consistently packed form. Our product focus is on wheat, rice, pulses, and regional grains, with an emphasis on quality, traceability, and trust for end consumers.The startup aims to organise the highly fragmented grain supply chain by aggregating farmer produce, reducing post-harvest wastage, and providing better price realisation to farmers while ensuring reliable quality and supply for buyers. We use standardized quality parameters, basic on-ground cleaning and sorting infrastructure, and a digital order-management workflow to serve both B2B customers (retailers, wholesalers, HoReCa, institutions) and B2C consumers.The core innovation lies in our farmer-level aggregation and quality-based pricing model, which improves farmer incomes and creates a transparent, trustworthy sourcing system for bulk buyers and households. The business follows an asset-light model by partnering for processing and logistics, enabling rapid regional scale-up with limited capital expenditure. This model has strong potential for employment generation across procurement, operations, sales, and logistics, as well as wealth creation for both farmers and stakeholders in the value chain
