At Cofight, our mission is to empower job seekers who have experienced job loss by providing them with a platform to connect with top employers and find new opportunities. We believe that everyone deserves the chance to reach their full potential, and that job loss should never be a barrier to success. Our Story: Cofight was founded towards the end of 2022 by Manoj (IIT-Delhi) and Darshin (QUT-Brisbane), who recognized the devastating impact that job loss can have on individuals and communities. The news of suicides, desperate cries for help on professinal platforms brought an important issue in front which needed a quick and efficient solution to help such people quickly. Time is of essence before bright professionals and their families get impacted, sinking them to depression that seeks yet another life. As the COVID-19 pandemic led to widespread layoffs and economic uncertainty, they saw the need to create a platform that could connect job seekers with employers in a more efficient and effective way, working as an alleviating catalyst for job seekers. The job portals (including professional communities like LinkedIn) are very crowded and it is important to separate the needy from the noise. Highlight: One of the key benefits of Cofight is that we shall provide organizations and companies with quick access to a pool of skilled, motivated, needy and verified professionals who are readily available to start working without a notice period. By connecting employers with job seekers who have recently lost their jobs or are actively seeking new opportunities, we offer a win-win solution that benefits both parties. Our verification process shall ensure that all profiles on our platform are 100% authentic, making it easier for employers to find the right fit for their needs. With Cofight, organizations could tap into a talent pool that is both diverse and high-quality, helping them achieve their goals more efficiently and effectively.
