Cosmochute is building enabling infrastructure for sustained human and robotic operations on extra-terrestrial surfaces, beginning with the Moon. While launch costs have reduced significantly due to reusable rockets, surface missions remain largely single-use, fragile, and logistically inefficient. This creates a critical bottleneck in scaling lunar and planetary exploration. Cosmochute addresses this gap by developing reusable, modular, and repairable surface systems designed for long-duration deployment in extreme environments. Our approach focuses on extending asset lifetimes, reducing mission costs, and enabling iterative operations on planetary surfaces. By shifting the paradigm from one-off missions to persistent infrastructure, Cosmochute aims to unlock a new phase of the space economy, where regular, reliable, and cost-effective surface access becomes feasible.
