In their own words

PROBLEM SOLVING Problem-solving skills are extremely important in life and more so in business. And they are especially important in the many steps in starting a business. Regardless of your profession, industry or lifestyle, solving problems is part of everyday life. First of all, who is an entrepreneur? They are individuals who turn ideas into reality and as a result, are very important in our society. The entrepreneurial journey is riddled with ups and downs and my ability to solve problems has given me great success in business. My problem-solving skills have developed and improved over time through experience and hearing about the experiences of other entrepreneurs – one of the reasons why we created the lonely entrepreneur program. When it comes to problem-solving, each situation is different and therefore requires a different approach each time. Some business challenges, such as taking a new product to market to sell online can be very tough, and their solutions may require a lot more thought and critical evaluation than others. Once you find yourself in a deep problem, you simply need to evaluate the situation and apply these skills. You will be surprised at how some of the things you perceived as tough actually turn out to be straightforward. Critical thinking is the process of taking your time to digest the issue at hand logically before making a judgment. Using this skill, you will analyse all the factors that are related to the problem and come up with a suitable and satisfactory conclusion. HOW PROBLEM SOLVES Many communities realize that their capacity to solve or successfully address big problems is seriously limited. Communities have been operating in a deficit for so long that it’s become the norm, and the result is a terrible mess. Climate change, severe income inequality, pollution, financial instability, habitat loss, budget shortfalls, excessive debt, poor health, and underfunded education are just a few that go unsolved. Our failure to focus on and solve problems that matter is now so severe that scientists warn the sixth mass extinction event may have already begun. We face the abyss, and that gets one to think. Perhaps radical improvements to our problem-solving systems might be a good idea. A focus on local community is part of a strategy for disruption one can call engage global, test local, spread viral. Engage global means to engage the global academic community, and science and technology sectors, in a focused R&D effort to identify designs of social choice systems that might be particularly good at helping communities focus on and solve problems that matter. Test local and spread viral are self-explanatory, and have been discussed elsewhere. UNIQUENESS The Most important area for a business to be successful is Demand. It is also linked to the problem that you are solving. Then there are many companies who are serving the demand but why should some choose to fulfil that demand. That’s where uniqueness comes into picture. So it’s not just unique but it should be unique in fulfilling the demand. So relevant uniqueness helps. Effective marketing is essential to gaining visibility for your company and attracting interested consumers who will hopefully be converted to paying customers. What most people fail to understand is that simply getting your brand out there is not enough. To truly be competitive in your field and really succeed you must learn not only how to be seen, but more importantly, how to be heard. All of the exposure that comes with increased connectivity is not without problems. For all of the talking that is going on, few people are listening. Due to the oversaturation of media, most of the messaging that’s being thrown at consumers turns into white noise. As a people, we’ve become really good at tuning things out. We’re especially adept at disregarding messaging that is consistently repeated to us. The only things that really catch our attention are those items noticeably out of the ordinary or special. It is for this reason that businesses, now more than ever, must learn how to stand apart from their competition.

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.

Is this your company?

Everything here comes from public government records. If something is wrong, the authoritative place to correct it is the Startup India portal itself, and we will pick the correction up on the next monthly snapshot. To flag an error on our side, write to trust@indianstartupmap.com.
