CURION COMPOSITES PRIVATE LIMITED is an indigenous advanced materials and clean-technology manufacturing start-up developing high-performance polyurethane-based composite structural systems for renewable energy infrastructure. The Company addresses a critical gap in solar photovoltaic supply chains by replacing energy-intensive aluminium module frames with engineered composite alternatives that are lightweight, corrosion-resistant and structurally robust. The innovation combines proprietary resin chemistry, engineered reinforcement systems and precision moulding processes to deliver frames that meet international photovoltaic safety and structural standards. The solution is specifically designed for India’s diverse climatic conditions, including coastal salinity zones, high-temperature desert regions and industrial environments prone to chemical exposure. The technology directly supports national priorities of decarbonisation, Atmanirbhar Bharat and import substitution by reducing dependence on primary aluminium, a carbon-intensive and globally price-volatile material. Independent certification confirms up to 80–90% lower carbon emissions compared to conventional aluminium frames, significantly contributing to low-carbon manufacturing and India’s climate commitments. By reducing structural weight, transportation costs and installation time, the product enhances project efficiency and lifecycle economics for solar developers. The modular, automation-ready manufacturing platform enables scalable domestic production aligned with India’s rapidly expanding renewable energy targets. Through partnerships with EPC contractors, module manufacturers and renewable energy developers, the Company aims to establish recurring large-volume supply relationships, generate skilled employment in advanced manufacturing, strengthen domestic value addition and position India as a global exporter of sustainable solar infrastructure components.
