CysScan is working to develop an affordable diagnostic platform using Biomarker X to predict the risk of renal failure and sepsis 24-48 hours earlier than serum creatinine (sCr), which lags until >50% kidney damage and varies with non-renal factors like diet or age. Our test, priced under ₹300, consuming approximately 15 minutes is to be deployed in GP clinics, hospitals, and remote areas, enabling earlier interventions that cut dialysis needs, shorten stays, and save ~₹30,000 per patient while targeting India's 3.5M annual renal/sepsis deaths. We are using the phrase “Biomarker X” as the type of biomarker is a work in progress.
