The DBATU Forum of Innovation, Incubation & Enterprise (DFIIE), a Technology-Based Incubator (TBI), was established in November 2019 as a Section 8 Company by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU), Lonere. With a mission to foster innovation and promote technology-driven startups, DFIIE provides a robust ecosystem to nurture and accelerate the growth of startups through comprehensive incubation support. The center actively cultivates an entrepreneurial mindset by encouraging ideation, fostering innovation, and facilitating the commercialization of ventures, both within the university and for external startups aligned with its core themes. Supported by the Maharashtra State Innovation Society (MSInS), Government of Maharashtra, DFIIE plays a pivotal role in advancing the state’s innovation and entrepreneurship landscape. The incubation center offers startups access to affordable office spaces, expert mentorship from industry and academia, tailored training programs, funding opportunities through diverse schemes, and networking platforms to connect with entrepreneurs, investors, and other key stakeholders. Through its commitment to fostering innovation and enabling growth, DFIIE empowers startups to scale, create employment opportunities, and contribute significantly to the realization of Vikasit Bharat 2047.
