Pumpumpum is empowering millennials with an IoT enabled smart car subscription model. We provide monthly subscription of pre-owned cars at affordable rates. User can select a car from pool of certified pre-owned cars, without worrying about the down payment, quality, condition & price of the car. It's a new way forward "CAR AS A SERVICE" ensuring flexibility, affordability & zero liability. Today in India with rapid urban growth and the rise of big urban agglomerates , mobility of individuals is a big concern. While public transport and radio taxis suffice a major part of transport needs but having their own car has its advantages like on demand mobility, comfort, status, speed, and convenience. But owning a car comes with a cost of money and time, where an individual has to tackle with down payments, high interest rates, service , maintenance and insurance and to solve all these problems car subscriptions which is based on “CAR AS A SERVICE” model comes in handy, where an individual can have access to a car in a more affordable and flexible way. Car as a service(CAAS) model provides affordability and flexibility to its customers by providing used cars on lease for a shorter period of time like 6 months to 36 months with all inclusive features like insurance,maintenance and service. CAAS model also known as subscription model provides customer ability to select a car on a website for a specific period of time without any liability. This model caters to the needs of our younger generation which believes in asset light lifestyle and have no hesitation of subscribing to a car for 6 months and upgrading to a different model of car for another 6 months and if the customer wants to unsubscribe the car ,he/she can without any penalties.Since it is a flexible leasing product, it has many applications , not only limited to individuals but also for corporations. Subscription model of a car is based on principles of affordability, flexibility, variety, less liability, trust, quality and loyalty. It will have numerous applications and will act as a catalyst for the growth of the used car market.
