DRESSFOLK PRIVATE LIMITED

In their own words

Dressfolk is a direct-to-consumer fashion brand that deals with extraordinary Indian crafts. Each creation of ours is an attempt to bridge the gap between the native and the western, and is handcrafted by adept artisans in the place of origin of the craft. We strongly believe that these indigenous techniques must not be limited to Indian silhouettes only. Apart from what it produces, Dressfolk deals with bigger and greater goals like reviving Indian crafts which are losing popularity for all the wrong reasons. The company works directly with the artisans who handcraft each garment and no middle-men are involved. It believes in fairly providing the artisans with what they have earned and deserve. At Dressfolk, we've built a direct to consumer business model where we won't hold any finished inventory yet be able to supply within 3-5 days across India. We are working on a sizing mechanism whereby we can create sizes specifically for international geographies and suggest the right size to a customer during order placement.

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.

Is this your company?

Everything here comes from public government records. If something is wrong, the authoritative place to correct it is the Startup India portal itself, and we will pick the correction up on the next monthly snapshot. To flag an error on our side, write to trust@indianstartupmap.com.
