DSquare Technologies is first Registered Service Provider of DSpace Open Source Document Management System / Digital library solution in India. Solution is recommended for Digital data archival as per Government of India's Open Source solution framework. We have done enough groundwork for spreading awareness among users for adopting this open source application for digital data preservation, which as a result has helped in bringing spend on this head by approx. 90% in comparison of any matured commercial option. DSquare Technologies is exclusively focused on customization, implementation, hosting and maintenance of DSpace open source digital library solution. We are building complete eco system across content management, regional OCR, process automation and Business intelligence using Open source solutions for empowering institutions in most economical way while ensuring that they are not in individual vendor lock in situation.Solution is already customized and implemented with many specific value adds for managing large document volume for reputed institutions like Supreme Court of India, Central Knowledge bank for all Agricultural Institutions across Country, High Court of Calcutta, Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, IIM Bangalore etc.DSquare is also playing role for empowering user community by organizing DSpace User Group meets as a part of its contribution to Indian user community. This is an effort to make Indian requirements more visible in global forum and getting Indian user community a reputed place in Global Digital preservation community.
