eMinus Technologies is building a modular electric vehicle (EV) skateboard platform that forms the foundational architecture of future electric vehicles. This platform integrates the most capital-intensive and engineering-heavy components of a vehicle — including the battery pack, electric motor, power electronics, braking systems, suspension systems, vehicle electronics, and structural chassis — into a standardized modular architecture. Vehicle manufacturers will be able to design and build their vehicles directly on top of this platform, dramatically reducing the time, capital expenditure, and engineering effort required to bring an electric vehicle to market. Similar to how semiconductor companies design products on standardized chip architectures, or how smartphone companies build products on shared operating systems, eMinus Technologies aims to create the foundational hardware platform for electric mobility. The platform will support: Multiple vehicle body styles (hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs, vans) Multiple battery configurations Modular drivetrain configurations Scalable vehicle electronics architecture Unlike proprietary EV architectures developed by large OEMs, eMinus will follow an open architecture philosophy, enabling multiple manufacturers — especially emerging EV companies — to innovate on a shared platform.
