HungerBox is leading institutional FoodTech solutions provider, founded by Sandipan Mitra and Uttam Kumar in 2016. It currently handles the F&B operations and management for over 500+ cafeterias for its clients. HungerBox operates in Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Goa, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Pune and Trivandrum and currently employs more than 1,500 staff across India. HungerBox has empanelled over 2,100 food partners serving varied cuisines across the 18 cities in which it operates. Currently, orders on the HungerBox platform have reached over half a million a day and are growing 10% month-on-month across more than 535 cafeterias that HungerBox operates for its clients in the IT Services/technology, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, aviation and financial services sectors. Annual food sales on the HungerBox platform exceed USD 100 million. Total orders processed since the company’s inception in 2016 have exceeded 140 million. HungerBox’s solution allows pre-ordering, live order tracking, digital payments, feedback management, cafeteria density tracking, desk-based ordering, food ordering for meeting rooms, food ordering for organisational events and more. The company’s seamless, tech-led solution connects food partners to end consumers within client establishments through a customised mobile app available to each user. Using the app, users can view the F&B menu provided by all enlisted food partners, place orders and get real-time updates of their order. They can also provide ratings/feedback. HungerBox’s solution provides facilitators at the establishments with the ability to track the entire F&B operation including food consumption, orders and feedback.
