Ebutor (short form of e-distributor) is a B2B eCommerce company building the largest distribution network of India for FMCG and Grocery. About 80% of Indian households shop with 1.2 million Kirana (mom-and-pop) stores which account for 90% of India’s $103 billion spend in FMCG & Grocery. However the cost of direct distribution to Kirana stores is inversely proportion to the size of the outlet and hence the leading brands’ direct distribution coverage is limited to few large-and-medium sized Kirana stores while the MSME (medium, small and micro enterprises) brands reach is typically restricted to a specific geography only. Ebutor solves this very problem. Ebutor distribution network is multi-tiered, crowdsourced, tech-enabled and standards-driven. We are inventory-led yet asset-free, capital-free and logistics-free. Our model enables us to penetrate into deep rural pockets covering all sizes of Kirana stores at the lowest cost of supply chain. We further curate products for each specific geography through extensive research and analytics ensuring an increase in Kirana stores’ income with faster inventory-turns and reduced working capital. We help large brands complement their reach across pan-India while the MSME brands depend upon us to spread across India and enhance their sales.
