Eco-Flo develops eco-friendly, innovative, and scalable alternatives to single-use plastics using proprietary chemical technology. We are currently in the process of filing a patent for this chemical, which will serve as the core component across multiple product lines in future. Our first product, a high-durability paper straw, offers over 3+ hours of performance, solving a major usability issue. In Phase 1,we’re setting up a dedicated manufacturing unit, generating 20+ direct jobs in production and operations in first year. As we expand into new product lines (paper cups, cutlery or any other product already using PLA coatings) the technology will enable skilled and unskilled employment in R&D, innovation, and green manufacturing. Eco-Flo aligns with the Make in India vision by enabling sustainable, domestic production. In terms of wealth generation and scalability, The Global Straw Market size was valued at USD 16.93 Billion in 2024 and is projected to reach USD 24.26 Billion by 2030, with India among the fastest-growing segments due to increasing demand from QSRs, cafes, and FMCG brands. Eco-Flo’s straws offer 3x longer durability than conventional paper straws while maintaining competitive pricing, giving it a strong advantage in both quality and affordability. Beyond straws, the core technology is adaptable across a wide range of paper-based products, unlocking opportunities in India’s paper and packaging industry. The social impact of Eco-Flo is central to our vision. By offering genuinely compostable and durable alternatives, we directly reduce plastic waste, prevent microplastic ingestion, and support India’s mission of a cleaner, healthier environment.
