ECO REGAIN is a first initiative in India to Recycle and Reuse household old clothes to handcraft new products. Inspired by 'Swachh Bharat Mission' and 'Startup' India. Old clothes waste is becoming a serious problem day by day.All these old clothes are thrown away on open landfill where they finally decompose(40 Years to 100 years period),and produce carbon dioxide and methane,methane traps heat 28th times more which is causing global warming. Each year 9 billion clothes are going on landfill.Hence Old clothes are equally contributing in Global Warming. As the population in India is increasing exponentially,clothes waste will also increase and will have an adverse impact on the environment. Eco Regain has founded with a mission to provide sustainable solutions to the old cloth waste. Till date collected 33,000 KG old clothes waste and recycled it into creative products consisting of Handbags,Travel Bags,Travel Pouch,Kitchen Apron,Sack,Satranji,Galicha,Carpets. Thus in turn reduced 1,18,000 KG of CO2 and Methane emission. Eco Regain has launched a Vocational Training and Production center for Women Empowerment Center,to provide training and sustainable income to all needy women. This initiative aiming two objective: 1.Old clothes waste Solution 2.Women Empowerment as well as employment generation
