In view of the current emphasis in environmental aspects through sustainable development goals, millennium development goals and national programmes such as Swatchh Bharat, there is huge potential for waste management business. Further, innovative technologies suitable for Indian context will have a great application. Ecologique Science Technik (India) Pvt. Ltd is precisely working in this field. With national level potential of building treatment plants for untreated sewage discharged to water bodies (about 70000 MLD generated every day and only 29-30% is treatment capacity today) and treatment/management of solid wastes the business of ESTPL is highly scalable. Further, ESTPL is a company promoted by Scientist of National Environmental Engineering Research Insitute, CSIR, under Scientist Entrepreneurship program. This has created an unique opportunity to address the issues of waste management in scientific and wholistic approach. ESTPL is taking technologies from National Labs, IITs, NITs and working for Lab to Land applications. While design, implementation, commissioning and O&M a large number of manpower would be required based on the business generated by company. This will help to generate employment both direct and indirect.
