Our Carbon Capture Technology will enable abundantly available fossil fuels like coal (especially for a developing economy like India) to become a clean low-carbon emitting energy source. This will ensure climate responsibility whilst conserving economic growth and energy security. Our current Carbon Capture technology is based on the adsorption principle by using biological media like algae. We are extending our project to experiment with chemical absorbents in place of biological media and design a reactor to efficiently remove 95-98% of CO2 from the emission flue gas. The primary innovation is to minimize the energy demand of Carbon Capture and improve the rate of regeneration of absorption/adsorption media.
