The startup is a research-driven agri–food innovation enterprise focused on promoting sustainability, improved farmer livelihoods, and healthier food choices for consumers. It operates at the intersection of agriculture and food processing, using scientific research and innovation to address challenges across the food value chain. In the food processing sector, the startup is developing plant-based artificial sweeteners and functional sugar alternatives that provide sugar-equivalent sweetness with a reduced glycaemic impact. By combining natural sweetening molecules with plant-derived bioactives, the solutions are designed to be clean-label, safe, and compatible with existing food manufacturing systems. A key innovation is bioactive-coated sugar, which helps lower glycaemic response without affecting taste or consumer habits. In agriculture, the startup is working on bioactive-based formulations for crop production, plant protection, and seed storage. These solutions aim to improve input-use efficiency, reduce chemical dependency, and minimise post-harvest losses, thereby supporting easy and sustainable livelihoods for farmers. Sustainability is central to the startup’s mission. By using plant-based raw materials, enhancing efficiency at farm and food levels, and reducing waste, the startup contributes to environmentally responsible agriculture and quality food for consumers, driven by continuous research and innovation.
